1) “Home” page
“Home” page includes all features typical for a dating site. These features are
categorized in the following sections:
- Main (join-search) section
- Members
- Top rated
- Newsletter
- Success story
- Latest news
- Survey
- Featured members
Now to each section with details:
Main section
The section holds a link inviting a guest to join the site. Besides, it has a set of controls for conducting quick search and a link to “Advanced search” page. Surely, the main section holds the fields for logging in to member’s profile. Note that a member can be identified by either an e-mail or a unique ID.
Members section
This section gives statistics of the database content to a member. It shows how many members (men/women/chatting) are currently online and registered in the database totally. Besides, a user can see the number of members-residents of a specific country in both statistics groups (online/total registered).
Top-rated section
The section portrays photos from the Profile of the week and Profile of the month. The rating of the profiles is determined as a result from all votes of members and guests (non-members). A visitor can cast his vote while browsing through profiles. The rating is drawn up on the 5-point scale. Both indicators (Rating and Number of votes) have percentage bars. The percentage of the bar for Number of votes is drawn from the profile with the maximum number of votes representing 100%.
Newsletter section
It allows a visitor to subscribe for AfricanLoveGoesGlobalOnlineDating newsletters.
Success story section
This section holds some praising words from a happy customer. Members are welcome to submit success stories or any stories related to dating. The stories are however edited and approved by the site’s administrator before being posted.
Latest news section
The section shows the latest news of the site and also allows switching to all news pages
Survey section
This section allows collecting statistics concerning this site by visitors and displaying polls’ results. The section displays the first active poll that appears on the list of polls. The results of the poll can be seen after clicking the ‘Results’ button. If a visitor wants to vote in other polls, he/she can do it by clicking the ‘Polls’ button on the bottom of this section. Note that only active polls will be displayed.
Featured members section
This section is filled with photos randomly selected from profiles of the members marked as Featured by site administrator.

“Search” page
This page gives possibilities for extended search. A visitor can choose one of the following search options:
- Search by distance
- Search by ID
- Search by nickname
- Extended search
Search by distance
A visitor can initiate a search based on the desirable distance from a certain area identified by a zip/postal code.
Search by ID
A visitor can search for a specific member by entering the ID of this member.
Search by nickname
A visitor can search for a specific member by entering the nickname of this member. Note that nicknames might not be unique. So if there are several members with the same nicknames in the database, they all will be shown in the search results.
Extended search
The extended search can be based on the following criteria:
- Sex (sex of the visitor)
- Looking for (sex of the desirable partner)
- Age
- Country
- Language spoken
- Religion
- Height
- Body type
- Ethnicity
- Marital status
- Education
- Income
- Smoker
- Drinker
- With photos only

“Rate photo” page
This page allows a visitor to rate photos that are stored in the database. The photos are chosen on a random basis. The rating is based on the 5-point scale. Next photo automatically loads after a user rates the current one.

The page holds the list of all contacts that a visitor is going to buy and a check-out button that loads credit card payment form.

This page holds information about this company.

This page holds information about this company’s contact details.
There are two types of membership, namely:
- Gold Membership
- Non-Gold Membership
Gold Membership
Gold membership is a paid membership and it is further broken down into two different
types, namely:
- Available for Free
- Contact Anyone for Free
Available for Free Gold Membership
This type of membership let other members of the site contact you regardless of their membership, non-gold or gold members. This type makes your contacts available for free to other members.
Available for Free gold membership can be either of time-based or pay-per-contact-based
Time-based Available for free gold membership
This membership is offered on a timely basis at a certain price depending on the length of the period so chosen by the member.
Pay-per-contact-based Available for free gold membership
This is an advanced type of membership. Members can deposit chosen amount of money (say $10) and choose bid, which is an amount of money they want to be deducted from their deposit each time someone takes his contacts.
Contact anyone for free Gold Membership
Contact anyone for free membership means that members who paid for it may contact all other members during set period of time.
All profiles are divided into the following status groups:
- Unconfirmed
- Approval
- Active
- Rejected
- Suspended
Unconfirmed
A profile has this status while a newly registered member did not confirm his e-mail address. In a standard way, confirmation is performed through sending a message to the member’s address specified in the profile. The message contains a link that a member should click on to complete the registration process. After this the profile’s status shifts to Approval.
Besides, a registered member’s profile will also become unconfirmed after he/she changes the e-mail address. The new address will need the same confirmation procedure as described above.
Approval
Profiles of this status are those that already have e-mail addresses confirmed by the members but not checked by the Administrator. In this process profiles are checked whether uploaded photos and text entered in text fields meet the requirements of the site policies. In case the content of a profile does not violate the site’s rules, the status is changed to Active. The member will then receive a message notifying him/her about becoming a member and possibility to enjoy the full scope of services. Otherwise, it is Rejected. In this case the member will receive a notification message listing possible reasons for rejection.
Reason for rejection could be very different. Some examples: insufficient or irrelevant information in the About me or About you fields, lack of correct date of birth, profile filled in a non-target language or contains derogatory, offensive or explicit expressions, etc.
Active
Active members can search through the site and buy contact information of other members. But the main feature of active members is that they can get into search results conducted by other members and non-member visitors. There is a possibility for an active member to appear as a Featured Member on the main page of this site.
Rejected
Profiles resting in this category are waiting for being changed by the members. After a member changes content of his/her profile (edited text fields or uploaded new photos), the status of the profile will be changed to Approval and it will again be subject to administrator’s attention.
Suspended
This category is created for those members who want to be temporarily invisible
to other members. The shift from Active to Suspended and back should made by the member himself.
NB If an active or suspended member makes changes in the profile his/her profile will also get into Approval category. The changes that incur profile status change are the following:
- Changes in any text fields (those where a member can type in)
- Photos change or new photos upload.
This site offers the following features for its members depending on their types of membership.
Track all profile views
A member can see a list of those members who viewed her/his profile. The member can also delete items from this list.
Votes
A member can vote for viewed profiles of other members.
Show additional photos
Unlike other dating sites where this option is reserved only for gold members, all members on this site will be able to see all pictures in all profiles that they view.
Virtual kisses
This option lets all members of this site send unlimited number of virtual kisses to other members.
Photos votes
This option enables visitors to vote for members’ photos.
Chat
Normally, chat is available only to gold member on other sites. But on this site it is available to all members to make dating more enjoyable.
Instant Messenger
This option is available to gold members only.
Notification Letters
Notification letters are used to let you know of new exciting features as we add them to the existing ones on this site. You can however opt to receive these letters if you chose notification during registration or switched on this option while editing your existing profile. A visitor, even if he/she is not a registered member can subscribe on the index page of this site.
You as an active member of this site you can opt to become an affiliate and help advertising this site further. Of course you will be rewarded for your services in the following manners:
